Terms of Use
Last updated: September 2026
Subject
These terms govern the use of the MÖRK app for tracking utility meter readings and calculating amounts due. By installing the app, you agree to these terms.
Age and capacity
MÖRK is not intended for children. By installing the app, you confirm that you are legally able to enter into this agreement under the law of your country. If you are under 18, use the app only with the consent of a parent or guardian.
Licence to use the app
The app is licensed, not sold. You receive a personal, non-exclusive right to use MÖRK on Apple devices you own or control — for your own household or for the properties you rent out. This licence is not transferable, and it applies in addition to Apple's standard licence agreement for apps.
Versions and features
MÖRK is available in a free version with basic features and an extended version by subscription. The features of each version are listed on the home page. Prices are not shown on this site — the current price in your currency is shown on the purchase screen in the App Store.
Auto-renewal and cancellation
A subscription renews automatically for a new period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Cancel through your Apple ID settings, outside the app. If the subscription price goes up, Apple asks for your consent separately — without it, the subscription simply does not renew.
Refunds
All payments are processed by Apple. Refund requests are handled exclusively by Apple under the App Store's terms — MÖRK has no access to payments and cannot issue a refund directly. For consumers in the EU: digital content is delivered immediately on purchase, so the 14-day right of withdrawal ends at the moment access is granted; this does not affect your rights if the service is defective.
Acceptable use
You may not circumvent the limits on paid features, decompile or reverse-engineer the app (except where the law expressly allows it), extract data from it by automated means, resell or distribute it as your own product, or use MÖRK for unlawful purposes.
Intellectual property
The app, the MÖRK name, the mark and the design belong to the developer. Everything you enter — readings, rates, photos, calculations — belongs to you: we acquire no rights to it, and technically we could not, because that data never leaves your device.
Limitation of liability for calculations
MÖRK helps calculate the amount based on the readings and rates you enter yourself. The app does not guarantee the absence of errors in entered data or in the supplier's rates. The final reconciliation of the amount with the utility provider is the user's responsibility.
Warranties
The app is provided “as is”. We do not promise that it will run uninterrupted, without errors, or on every version of iOS. This statement does not limit the mandatory consumer rights granted by the law of your country.
Limit of liability
The developer's total liability is limited to the amount you paid for MÖRK in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, and in any case does not exceed EUR 50. We are not liable for indirect loss — in particular a dispute with a landlord or tenant, an overpayment, or a late fee charged by a utility provider. These limits do not apply where the law does not allow them: in cases of intent, gross negligence, harm to life or health, or where mandatory consumer rights apply.
Changes to the app and these terms
Features may change, and some may be withdrawn; where practicable we give notice of significant changes in the app. These terms may also be updated: the date at the top of this page changes, and continued use means you accept the new version. If the new version does not suit you, stop using the app and cancel the subscription.
Ending access
You may stop using the app at any time by deleting it. We may restrict access if these terms are breached, or discontinue the app altogether — in which case active subscriptions are not renewed. Your local data stays on your device and remains yours either way.
Apple-specific terms
This agreement is between you and the developer, not with Apple. Apple has no obligation to provide support for MÖRK and is not responsible for the app itself, for claims relating to it, or for third-party claims of intellectual property infringement. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this agreement and may enforce it. You also confirm that you are not located in a country under embargo and are not on a prohibited-parties list of the U.S. government.
Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the law of Ukraine. Disputes are resolved at the provider's place of registration, unless applicable law requires otherwise. If you are a consumer in the EU, you keep the right to bring proceedings in the courts of your place of residence.
Other
If any provision of these terms proves invalid, the rest remains in force. If we do not exercise a right immediately, that is not a waiver of it. These terms, together with the privacy policy and Apple's licence agreement, form the whole agreement covering use of the app.
